“Being overweight is the only truth you can successfully run from”

The expression “to run away from one’s problems” is usually not taken literally, but there have been several puns. “Fat people can literally run away from most of their problems #lazy” was posted on Twitter  on March 21, 2012. “The good thing about being overweight is that it is one of the few problems you can actually run away from” was posted on Twitter on November 14, 2013. “Being overweight is the only truth you can successfully run from” was posted on Reddit—Shower Thoughts on October 23, 2017.

“Running away doesn’t help you with your problems, unless you’re fat. Then yeah, run” is the same saying, but worded differently. “People scared of being fat are running from their fears” is a similar saying.
