Benefeast (benefit + feast)

The Alamo Drafthouse (a cinema offering movies along with food and drink, in Austin, TX) began its annual “Benefeast” (benefit + feast) in 2009. The word “benefeast” hasn’t been used for other charity benefits (where food is served), although the term has not been trademarked by The Alamo.

“Benefeast” was trademarked for “On-line social networking services” in 2008; there is also a website by that name.
