Big Apple Cafe (Cincinnati, OH. 1938-1963)

A Big Apple Cafe existed at 3711 Colerain Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1938 until 1963. The Big Apple Cafe was almost surely named after the “Big Apple” dance craze of 1937, just a year before.

Say Hey Inc., Big Apple Cafe, 3711 Colerain avenue, has been deprived of its liquor permit by the Ohio liquor board.

In a ruling yesterday the board revoked the license for improper conduct.
