“Channel the flannel” is a fall and winter saying that has been printed on many images. “Channel the flannel” has been cited in print since at least 2008.
“Other favorite phrase of the day, when referring to lesbians, or gays who need to butch up: “Channel the Flannel’” was posted on Twitter by “.the butch, caucus” on June 2, 2009. This version of the saying has been infrequently used.
