“Checkmarks imply the existence of checkmatthews, checklukes and checkjohns”

The term “checkmark” has nothing to do with the Gospel of Mark (one of four New Testament gospels, along with Matthew, Luke and John), but there are jokes. Twitter has a blue checkmark.

“checkmarks imply the existence of checkmatthews, checklukes, and checkjohns” was posted on Twitter by C. S. Live Laugh Love Lewis on November 15, 2022.

Similar jokes include “Hallmark implies the existence of Hallmatthew, Hallluke and Halljohn” and “Primark implies the existence of Primatthew, Priluke and Prijohn.”

I suppose this also implies that with the existence of the checkmark there must also be a checkmatthew, checkluke, and checkjohn
