Chopstick-Straw (Soup Sticks)

Julian Lechner invented the product “Soup Sticks” (or “Chopstick-Straws") in 2013. The chopsticks are also straws, eliminating one extra utensil from the food table.

DESIGN FINDS
Chopstick Straw: Simultaneous Sipping & Slurping
The ultimate two-in-ramen device tool?

BY LAILA GOHAR
Sure, you could just go ahead and tip the soup straight into your mouth after you’re done slurping down the noodles...or you could check out these chopsticks. Think of the chopstick straw as the ultimate two-in-ramen device that allows you to simultaneously sip and slurp. Mastermind Julian Lechner came up with the functional design with the goal of ”improving the eating experience by allowing solids and liquids to be easily consumed with a single implement.” Amen, brother. The chopsticks are available for pre-order here.
