“Clones are people 2”

“Clones are people two” (or “Clones are people 2”)—instead of “too”—is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. “THE XEROX LAW OF ORGANISM DUPLICITY—Clones are people, two” was printed in the Des Moines (IA) Sunday Register on October 5, 1980. “The quip of physicist Arlen Zander may elucidate further: ‘Clones are people two’” was printed in the Dallas (TX) Morning News on May 24, 1981.

“CLONES R people 2” was printed in the LA Weekly (Los Angeles, CA) on December 10-16, 1982. “REMEMBER: CLONES ARE PEOPLE 2” was posted on the newsgroup alt.punk on August 27, 1999.

Wikipedia: Human cloning
Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy (or clone) of a human. The term is generally used to refer to artificial human cloning, which is the reproduction of human cells and tissue. It does not refer to the natural conception and delivery of identical twins. The possibility of human cloning has raised controversies. These ethical concerns have prompted several nations to pass laws regarding human cloning and its legality.
