CLT (chicken, lettuce and tomato)

“CLT” (chicken, lettuce and tomato is a sandwich similar to the “BLT” (bacon, lettuce and tomato). “CLTs (chicken, lettuce and tomato)” was printed in the Tustin (CA) News on July 28, 1988. “Try our newest lunch special the CLT- Chicken Lettuce Tomato. 499 calories for just $4.99!” was posted on Twitter by Dallas BBQ on June 8, 2010.

Tiffany & Co. opened its Blue Box Café on the fourth floor at 727 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan in 2017. Its C.L.T. sandwich meant both “Charles Lewis Tiffany” and “chicken, lettuce, and tomato.”

The Blue Box Café offers a simple menu that will change each season, featuring “a refined take on signature New York dishes” made from locally-sourced ingredients. For example, there’s a lobster avocado salad and a C.L.T. for Charles Lewis Tiffany, or chicken, lettuce, and tomato, according to Vanity Fair.

The CLT (Charles Lewis Tiffany) also happens to be chicken lettuce and tomato. You know- tasty but some bacon would have really made this sandwich.… https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk8sGg5DzTz/?utm_source=ig_twitter_share&igshid=1wejvg25gqye1
