“Come for the food. Stay for the fun”

Some establishments advertise “food and fun.” The fun could include games and large television screens to watch sports. “Come for the food, Stay for the fun” is a popular line.

“So come for the food and stay for the fun at the Trail Dust tonite!” was a 1979 advertisement by the Trail Dust Steak House of Dallas, Texas. Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theatre advertised “Come for the food, Stay for the fun” in 1983.
