Eating raw cookie dough could have salmonella dangers, but many people still eat it. Many people disputed this message. “Someone said covid-19 is like raw cookie dough: they know the risk, so let them live their lives. has anyone told them that covid-19 kills people and causes permanent harm to your body?????” was posted on Twitter by nicole on June 30, 2020.
     
“We’re all brave in our own way. For example, I am not afraid of raw cookie dough” is another raw cookie dough saying.

Covid-19 is like eating raw cookie dough, except when you eat the cookie dough it might kill you, or maybe it won’t kill you at all, but it also might kill your mom or grandma, and we don’t want that because mom and grandma make the best cookies. It might kill your lil brother too, then he’ll never get to eat cookies ever again.
Its you’re own choice to make though ig. Go ahead, eat the cookie dough.

This sign is quite disingenuous.  Eating raw cookie dough indeed can be a health danger but only to oneself.  COVID-19 is incredibly communicable between people; hence, it has evolved into a pandemic, especially here in the US where too many people think like this message board writer.  As someone who believes in scientific facts, I’ve never heard of raw cookie dough being communicable or causing a pandemic.  SO AT A MINIMUM WEAR YOUR FACE MASK, WASH YOUR HANDS & USE DISINFECTANT AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING.  Then I’ll be happy to let you live your life so I’ve a better chance of living mine!
