A “cupcakery” (cupcake + bakery) is a bakery that specializes in cupcakes. The term “cupcakery” has been cited in print since at least 2001.
 
Many establishments have “cupcakery” in their names. “The Cupcakery” (Las Vegas, NV) has trademarked its name with a first use on December 15, 2005.

The Cupcakery
It has been tradition for a really long time that I have lemon cake for my birthday. But since there are just two of us, we don’t really need a whole cake sitting around the house. So we decided to visit The Cupcakery to get an individual-sized portion of cake. This place was recognized by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s Best of Las Vegas 2007 as the Best Dessert (newspaper’s choice). And boy, was it tasty.
