“Demorrhoids” (Democrat + hemorrhoids) is an unflattering term used by people who don’t like Democrats. The term “demorrhoids” (either upper or lower case, but usually plural) has been cited in print since at least 2003. A 2006 commenter wrote, “Such a pain in the *ahem,* we should be called ‘demorrhoids’!” A “Demorrhoids” bumper sticker was made in 2011 and the term’s popularity appears to have started in that year.
