How was I to know she’d never driven a bus before?” was posted on Twitter by Dean Kinsella on February 24, 2016. “I did a good deed today by giving up my seat on the bus to an elderly lady… How was I supposed to know she’d never driven a bus before?” was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on October 15, 2020.
 
“I gave up my seat to a blind person on the bus. That’s how I lost my job as a bus driver” is a similar joke.
