“Did you get a haircut?”/“No, I got them all cut.”

Getting a haircut does not mean getting a single hair cut, but the popular dad joke exchange is:

WIFE: Did you get a haircut?
HUSBAND: No, I got them all cut.

Versions of the joke have been cited in print since at least 1899 and 1907.

DAD’S JOKES EXPLAINED
by BEN ROSEN
(...)
YOU: DAD, YOU SHOULD GET A HAIRCUT.
DAD: I USUALLY LIKE TO GET THEM ALL CUT.
This one is funny because it sounds like you want him to get only one of his hairs cut. How crazy would that be?

I remember this joke from Mork and Mindy. Robin Williams had long hair on the show and Mindy asked if he got a haircut. Robin’s response was “Nope, I got ‘em all cut.”
