Chicken + Mayo = Chicken Salad
Math proves mayo magically turns any food into salad.”
The salad saying was posted a few hours later on Reddit—Shower Thoughts.
Other forms of the mayo-turns-everything-into-salad saying existed earlier. “Mayo makes everything into ‘salad’. Egg Salad, Tuna Salad. It’s magic” was posted on Twitter by John Sico on November 26, 2012. “Everything you put Mayo on turns into salad, potato salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, macaroni salad. I’m bout to go on that Mayo diet” was posted on Twitter by bill jones on May 10, 2016.
