A hospital joke is:
Stranger: “Excuse me, how do I get to the hospital quickly?”
Me: “Just stand in the middle of the road for a while.”
That is, the person standing in the middle of the road will be hit by a car and—presumably—be taken quickly to a hospital. A slightly different form of the joke was posted on Twitter by ganesh vasupalli on July 10, 2011.
