Comedy Central’s The Daily Show did a segment by correspondent Jordan Klepper on May 7, 2014, about West Virginia’s lack of clean, drinkable water. Klepper said that the issue was one of “FIMBY” (or “FIIMBY”)—Fuck, It’s in My Back Yard.
 
“FIMBY” is a variant on the popular term “NIMBY” (Not In My Back Yard).
