“From age comes wisdom, and French cheese”

“Fromage” (French for “cheese”) has nothing to do with the English words “from age,” but there are jokes.

The French word for “cheese” is “fromage.” Cheese is made by aging milk. Cheese comes “from age.”

Cheese in French is fromage. Which is how it is made in English.

The French word for cheese is “Fromage”. If you split that word into two it becomes “from age” which is still a defining characteristic of cheese!

Not sure French cheese shout be blamed. Pretty uncontroversial that people die from age.

You get to like French cheese more as you get older - that’s why it’s called ‘from age’.
