“Have your people call my people” is a business saying—usually show business—that has been printed on many images. The “people” include agents, lawyers and accountant, and the invitation is for a business meeting. The saying is often made in jest by someone who cannot afford those people.
 
“But since you’re going to be in the area, let’s do lunch. Have your people call my people” was printed in a Scott Ostler column in the Los Angeles (CA) Times on July 8, 1982. The saying was mock Hollywood language from the earliest citations.
