Many people intently wait five seconds so they can click to skip ads on YouTube. “I’m never more focused than when the ‘You can skip this ad in 5 seconds’ ticker starts counting down” was posted on Twitter on March 28, 2013. “I am rarely more focused on 5 seconds than when I’m waiting to skip an ad on the internet” was posted on Twitter on June 19, 2017.
 
“The longest five seconds in anyone’s life is waiting to press the ‘Skip Ad’ button on YouTube” is a similar saying.
