“I ate four cans of alphabet soup and had the biggest vowel movement ever”

"I ate four cans of alphabet soup and had the biggest vowel movement ever” is a jocular one-line saying that has been printed on posters and ecards. The “vowel movement” (vowel + bowel movement) joke varies slightly with each telling, and some versions include Alpha-Bits cereal along with the alphabet soup. “If you ate a can of alphabet soup would you end up having a vowel movement? (Tony Thoennes)” was cited in a newsgroup in 2002.  “If you have Alpha-bits for breakfast and alphabet soup for lunch, will you have a vowel-movement by dinner?” was cited on Twitter on December 15, 2011.

“I ate 4 cans of alphabet soup and I just took the biggest vowel movement ever” went viral on Twitter on December 22, 2012.
