“I can’t afford vacation, so I am just going to drink until I don’t know where I am” is a jocular one-line saying that has been printed on many images and ecards. “I can not afford to go away on vacation, but I can afford to drink until I don’t know where I am” was posted on Twitter on October 31, 2009. The saying began to be posted frequently in 2011.
