House foreclosure yard signs shouldn’t be confused with political yard signs. A joke was posted by Katie Parker on Twitter on June 20, 2016:
“I hate it when candidates put signs on your lawn without even asking your permission. Who the hell is ‘Foreclosure’?”
“I hate it when political candidates put signs in your front yard with no permission”—a slight change from “lawn”—was posted on Twitter on July 8, 2017.

Above, a 1934 plaque from the Big Apple Night Club at West 135th Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem. Discarded as trash in 2006. Now a Popeyes fast food restaurant on Google Maps.
