“I hate when you get hit by a car while walking down the street and texting and the car is parked”

People often walk while texting, but don’t pay attention to where they’re walking. Joel‏@joeljeffrey posted on Twitter on August 4, 2017:

“I hate when you get hit by a car while walking down the street and texting and no one is in the car and it’s parked on the side of the road.”

“I hate when people don’t watch where I’m going when I’m walking and texting” is another jocular saying about texting.
