“Love Dean Martin’s Line: ‘Haven’t had a single drink all week…only doubles’” was printed in the Valley Times (North Hollywood, CA) on January 31, 1959. American singer, actor and comedian Dean Martin (1917-1995) probably had the line written for him by an unknown gag writer.
