“I scream. You scream. The police come. It’s awkward”

“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream” is a popular chant. “I scream. You scream. The police come. It’s awkward” is a jocular variation that has been printed on many images

“I scream. You scream. The police come. It’s awkward” was posted on Twitter by JoLynn Caldwell on September 1, 2010. The saying probably originated on an image.

“I scream, you scream, the police come, it’s awkward.” Really? Given the fact that a UW student was just murdered by her partner in our neighborhood, and he was caught when neighbors called the police about the screams they overheard, I’d say the current sign is in extreme distaste. Take it down immediately.
