“I sell pies from my car. $2 for apple, $3 for pumpkin. These are the pie rates of the car I be in”

“Pie Rates of the Caribbean”—a pun on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series—has been printed on many images. A different version was posted on Reddit—Jokes on January 14, 2019:

“I’ve decided to start a pie delivery service from my car. Apple pie is $3.75 / slice, cherry is $4.25, and banana cream pie is $4.75. Those are the pie rates of the car-I-be-in.”

Other Pirates of the Caribbean jokes include “My yoga instructor is from Jamaica. She teaches Pilates of the Caribbean” and “What do you call glass cookware from Jamaica?”/“Pyrex of the Caribbean.”

If I sold apple pie for $2 and cherry pie for $3 from my vehicle, those would be the pie rates of the car I be in.

Those are the pie rates of the car I be in.
(I married two old jokes together, I hope that’s ok)
