“I told my wife a man is like good wine; he gets better with age. So she locked me in the cellar”

So she locked me in the cellar” was printed in the New York (NY) Times on May 12, 1982. “I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine, he gets better with age… The next day, she locked me in the cellar” was posted on Reddit—Jokes on July 16, 2016.

I told my wife that a husband ages like wine. We get better with age. Then she locked me in the cellar.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine: we just get better with age.
The next day she locked me in the cellar.
