“Catastrophe” shouldn’t be confused with “cat ass trophy,” but there are jokes.
       
“I thought a catastrophe was when the taxidermist stuffed the wrong end ofthat cougar you shot…” was posted on the newsgroup rec.gardens on March 9, 1997. “Catastrophe: Taxidermist mounted the wrong end of the lion” was posted on the newsgroup alt.support.arthritis on December 1, 1999. “Someone took their deceased cat to a taxidermist but they stuffed the wrong end… It was a cat-ass-trophy” was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on March 2, 2018.
     
“Why do big-game hunters mount lions’ heads?”/“To mount the other end would be a catastrophe” is the joke without use of “taxidermist.”
