“I was an honor student—I don’t know what happened” (bumper sticker)

“I was an honor student—I don’t know what happened” is a popular bumper sticker. The bumper sticker is a parody of the “My child is an honor student” bumper stickers.

Wondermark by David Malki ! created the cartoon (and then the bumper sticker) in September 2009.

dear mr. malki!,
i wonder if you plan to make the “i was an honor student - i don’t know what happened” bumper sticker into an actual object available for purchase, but if i had a car, which hypothetically i should eventually, once i have a job, i would put one of those on it.

Once upon a time, I was a huge bumper sticker fan, so much so that my older sister, on one of her visits, looked at all the slogans and pithy sayings on the back of my car and said, “Wow!  You’ve got a lot to say!”  That’s when I started noticing them more – cars festooned with bumper stickers.

Man reading my sticker: “‘I was an honor student, I don’t know what happened.’ That’s not for me.

I know exactly what happened.”

Ура, кто-то ответил наклейкам MY CHILD IS AN HONOR STUDENT:
. My zombi child ate your honor student’s brain
. My child is an honor student, but I drive like an idiot.
. I was an honor student. I don’t know what happened.
