“If a single teacher can’t teach all the subjects, how can a single student learn them all?”

“If a single teacher can’t teach us all the subjects, then how can you expect a single student to learn all the subjects?” is a jocular school saying that has been printed on many images. “If a single teacher can’t teach all the subjects, Then how can we expect a single student to learn all of them?” was posted on Twitter by Avinash Vyas on May 14, 2011.

“Single teacher/single student” is sometimes written as “one teacher/one student.” “If one teacher can’t teach every subject, why does one student have to learn them all?” is a similar saying.

On Teacher’s Day, often, I get reminded of oft-repeated comment on my facebook “If a single teacher can’t teach us all the subjects, then…How could you expect a single student to learn all subjects?” And, how true is that. Nowhere in world there are subject specialists at primary level, except in India. Even, a grade one language teacher in our county is often seen saying that he/she cannot teach mathematics.

If a single teacher can’t teach all the subjects, then a single student shouldn’t be expected to learn all of the subjects

1 teacher for 20 students teaching 6 classes a day. If a teacher was 1 on 1 then they could teach all the subjects. So please don’t take what I say to heart too much right now:
GTFO with that bullshit. This is one step away from legal adults complaining that “I can’t adult today” and wanting to nap because life is too hard.

If a single teacher can’t teach us all the subject then how could u expect a single student to learn all subjects? 😐 — Once upon a time the teacher also had to learn all the subjects so that he/she can choose one out of the others.
