There have been several magazine puns on the term “back issues.” “I’ve been getting the periodical Osteopath weekly for years. I have a lot of back issues” was posted on Twitter by andybrown on December 2, 2010. “I’ve been reading Osteopath Monthly magazine for years. I have a lot of back issues. #fb” was posted on Twitter by Graeme McKendry on December 17, 2011.
   
“If anybody needs copies of Osteopath Weekly, I have back issues” was posted on Reddit—Jokes on June 19, 2020. “If anyone needs copies of Osteopath Monthly, I have back issues” was posted on Reddit—Oneliners on August 24, 2020.
   
“I can only sleep on stacks of old magazines. I’ve got back issues” is a similar joke.
