“If Hooters closes and becomes delivery only, would they have to change their name to Knockers?”

The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic made many restaurants close their dine-in facilities and become take-out and delivery only. A joke was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on March 30, 2020:

“If Hooters closes and becomes delivery only, would they have to change their name to Knockers?”

“Hooters” and “Knockers” are both slang terms for breasts.

The joke originated much earlier. “If Hooters were to become a door-to-door service would they have to change their name to Knockers?” was posted on the newsgroup alt.support.stop-smoking on May 16, 2004.

Wikipedia: 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak
The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in December 2019, and was recognised as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020.

Wikipedia: Hooters
Hooters is the registered trademark used by two American restaurant chains: Hooters, Inc., based in Clearwater, Florida, and Hooters of America, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia and owned by two private investment firms, TriArtisan Capital Advisors and Nord Bay Capital. The Hooters name is a double entendre referring to both its owl logo, a bird known for its “hooting” calls, and an American slang term for women’s breasts popularized by comedian Steve Martin on the hit comedy series Saturday Night Live.
