Many people put a guitar pick in their pocket, especially the small pocket in their jeans that was originally meant for a watch.

It’s a watch pocket, originally for men who wore pocket watches and needed a protective place to store them. Though, as Levi’s points out, the pocket has also served many other purposes over time, from condom storage to coin hoarding.

Your wife is ready to divorce you because you keep leaving guitar picks in your jeans “pick” pocket (I think it might have been originally designed for change) and they keep showing up in the laundry.
