A proverbial saying is that “money can’t buy happiness.” “If money can’t buy happiness, explain pizza” is a jocular variation that has been printed on several images. “If money can’t buy happiness, explain pizza. Pizza makes everyone fucking happy” was posted on Twitter on March 28, 2013.
“If money can’t buy happiness, explain beer” has also been used in the same meme format. “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream” is a related saying.
