“If you don’t like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk!”

“If you don’t like the way I drive, get/stay off the sidewalk!” is a jocular driving saying that has been printed on many images. “My favorite New York bumper sticker: ‘If you don’t like the way I drive, get off the sidewalk’” was printed in the Chicago (IL) Tribune on June 16, 1981. “Bumper sticker: ‘If You Don’t Like the Way I Drive, Stay Off the Sidewalk’” was printed in the Philadelphia (PA) Inquirer on July 20, 1982.
