Subaru is a Japanese automaker. Many people have noticed that “Subaru” spelled backwards is “u r a bus” (you are a bus).
     
“Billy Sage says that for economy you can’t beat a Subaru spelled backwards—(u r a bus)” was printed in the Honolulu (HI) Advertiser on March 30, 1978. “Art Perlinger is intrigued by the fact that Subaru spelled backwards is U R A Bus” was printed in the Pittsburgh (PA) Post-Gazette on February 10, 1986. “‘Subaru’ spelled backwards is ‘u r a bus’” was posted on Reddit—Showerthoughts on February 12, 2014.
