“If you fear change, leave it here” is a tip jar sign that has been printed on many images.
 
“If you fear change, leave it here” was printed in The Oregonian (Portland, OR) on April 24, 1995. “You might have seen a note like this attached to an empty glass at the local espresso stand: ‘If you fear change, leave it here’” was printed in the Columbian (Vancouver, WA) on May 16, 1996. It’s not known where the saying originated.

[4] One of the things I liked about Coffee People. It seemed that every shop had a tip container of some sort, usually a liquid-holding container, with a small sign stating “If You Fear Change, Leave It Here”.
