“If you get a loan at a bank, you pay it for 30 years. If you rob a bank, you’re out in 10 years”

“If you get a loan at a bank you pay it for 30 years. If you rob a bank, you’re out in 10 years. Follow me for more financial advice” is a joke that has been printed on many images. The joke was posted on Twitter by Demi Kay on September 1, 2020.

The advice is only a joke and is not seriously intended. A person convicted of ten years in jail probably also has to surrender the stolen money as well.
