“If you push Continental breakfast tables together, do you get a Pangaea breakfast?”

If you combine all the continental breakfast tables together, would that make for a supercontinental (Pangaea or Pangea) breakfast? “If this is the Continental breakfast, I’d hate to see the Pangaea breakfast” was posted on Twitter on July 27, 2012.

me: PANGEA BREAKFAST”

Wikipedia: Pangaea
Pangaea or Pangea (pronunciation: /pænˈdʒiːə/) was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. It assembled from earlier continental units approximately 335 million years ago, and it began to break apart about 175 million years ago. In contrast to the present Earth and its distribution of continental mass, much of Pangaea was in the southern hemisphere and surrounded by a superocean, Panthalassa. Pangaea was the most recent supercontinent to have existed and the first to be reconstructed by geologists.

@boontdustie On a related note, can we refer to a buffet, which brings it all together at one time as ‘pangea breakfast’ ?

If you go to a continental breakfast and there’s only 1 big table to sit at, is it a Pangaea breakfast?
