"I just hope both teams have fun” (or “I just hope both teams are having fun” or “I just hope both teams had fun") is a jocular saying—often by a woman who doesn’t care about professional team sports, or a major sporting event such as the Super Bowl or World Series—that has been printed on many images. The saying is a joke on the classic mother’s advice to children who play games that it’s not important who wins, but that they have fun.
