I think I have mood poisoning” was posted on Twitter by Krista on April 1, 2019. “Pic says ‘I’m staying home today, I have mood poisoning’” (shown on an image) was posted on Twitter by Alice & Boogles on May 25, 2019. The saying probably originated on an image.
“I got mood poisoning. Must have been something I hate” and “I got mood poisoning at work. It must be something I hate” are similar sayings.
