“You know it’s a cold day when your teeth start chattering and they’re still on the nightstand” was said by the “Crabby Road” comic character Maxine (created by Hallmark) and was posted on the newsgroup alt.wisdom on January 28, 2000. “It was so cold…Grandpa’s teeth were chattering—in the glass!” was posted on the Athropolis blog on December 4, 2003.
