“It’s just as easy to buy scientists as it is to buy politicians”

“It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is to buy a politician” (or “It’s just as easy to buy scientists as it is to buy politicians”) is a saying that has been printed on many images. The saying became popular during the 2020 COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, when doctors and scientists were quoted to support lockdowns (although other doctors and scientists opposed lockdowns).

“It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is a politician. #mepolitics” was posted on Twitter by LitLibertyforME on August 5, 2020. “It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is to buy a politician” (also shown on an image) was posted on Twitter by Alibu later on August 5, 2020. “It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is to buy a politician” (shown on an image) was posted on Facebook by Linda Nowell on August 5, 2020.

“It’s just as easy to buy scientists as it is to buy politicians” was posted on Facebook by Tony Johnson on October 12, 2020. “Science is a way of trying to explain the world. It’s ever evolving. It’s only as accurate as the measuring devices, and it’s just as easy to buy scientists as it is to buy politicians” was posted on Facebook by Holly Larsen on January 4, 2021.

It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is to buy a politician. And just how you should NEVER trust a politician no matter what, you should NEVER trust a doctor. “Real health won’t be found inside a doctor’s office.” ~ #BrandyVaughan, former pharma insider.

It’s just as easy to buy a scientist as it is to buy a politician.
We know that scientists require funding, and peer reviews/recreated research aren’t anywhere near as popular as an original thesis. So why do people always trust the word of a few scientist with a confirmation bias blindly?
