“It’s not your job to love me—it’s mine”

“It’s not your job to like me—it’s mine” is a inspirational saying that has been printed on many images. The saying has been attributed to American speaker and author Byron Katie since 2007.

“It’s not your job to love me—it’s mine” was printed in the book Question Your Thinking, Change the World (2007) by Byron Katie. The correct quotation—with “love,” not “like”—has only rarely been printed on images.
