“It’s tea time somewhere”

“It’s tea time somewhere” is a tea saying that has been printed on many images. The expression is a variation of the popular drinking saying, “It’s five o’clock somewhere.”
   
“It’s never too early for tea. It’s always teatime somewhere” was posted to the newsgroup alt.roundtable on May 1, 2002.
 
“Well, it’s always tea time somewhere - Tahiti, perhaps?” was published in the St. Louis (MO) Post-Dispatch newspaper on October 12, 2003. “It’s always tea time somewhere” was posted on Twitter on June 1, 2008.

Allen’s recital will be followed by an oddly timed “English tea party” at the Cheshire Lodge in Clayton. “I’ve never had cucumber sandwiches at 9 o’clock at night,” he says. Well, it’s always tea time somewhere - Tahiti, perhaps?
