“I’ve been watching the Origami Channel. It’s paper view”

"Pay Per View” sounds like “paper view.” An obvious joke is:

“I’ve been watching the Origami Channel. It’s paper view.”

The “paper view” origami joke has been cited in print since at least 1997 and 2002, when it was popularized in the United Kingdom.

I heard this on a syndicated radio program hosted by Gary Burbank, of the Broadbank Burbcasting Corporation (BBC).  He was telling this joke as he imitated Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story” program.
