“I’ve just turned off the news and put on a serial killer documentary to relax”

“I’ve just turned off the news and put on a serial killer documentary to relax” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. The news often gets people angry or depressed—the opposite of relaxation. The news in 2020-21 was especially unsettling because of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
