Websites often have a problem with a “server,” providing the basis of tennis puns. “Made a website for depressed tennis players. Servers are currently down” was posted on Twitter on January 26, 2015. “I’ve made a website for depressed tennis players. The servers are currently down” was posted on Reddit—Cleanjokes on April 1, 2018.
“I ordered tennis balls on the internet, but the site crashed. Must be problems with the server” is a similar joke about tennis “servers.”
