“Adam and Eve lived appley ever after” was posted on the newsgroup alt.humor.puns on November 15, 1996. “Jonathan and Granny Smith fell in love and lived appley ever after” was posted on Twitter by Matthew Thiessen on August 18, 2011. “Two apples met, fell in love and got married. They lived appley ever after” was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on April 4, 2022.
The Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor of “Apple-y Ever After” (brown-sugar ice cream, ginger-caramel swirls, apple chunks) was sold in 2005. The Honest Kids apple drink of “Appley Ever After” was trademarked with a first use date of September 24, 2009.
